The attackers created a fake page in Telegram, where they reported on the stop of the refinery on behalf of the minister. Ufa1.ru writes that the message was originally posted in the Ukrainian media. “Once again, this is Fake. Trust only official sources, commented Mr. Sheldyaev in Telegram.
According to Ufa1.ru, the fake channel on behalf of the Minister completely copies his original posts, but with a difference of a few minutes. The fake channel has more subscribers. Another difference is that the original channel has been running since May 2022, and the fake first post is dated December 2025.
