The General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the UAE announced the termination of air traffic with Iran from September 24 until a special order. This was reported by the UAE Barq news agency.

The decision was made in connection with the US ban on Iranian airlines to carry out international flights. After that, several countries announced the cessation of air traffic with Iran, including Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Even before the official statement of the UAE authorities, Iranian media reported that many airlines of Turkey, the UAE, Europe and several Arab countries stopped flying to Iranian airports.
