The Central Bank of the Russian Federation raised the official rate of the euro to 90 rubles and 10 kopecks.
The euro exchange rate added one penny, but the European currency rose for the first time after a rather long decline in value.
On August 27, the euro exchange rate exceeded 100 rubles. Then it decreased, but soon the euro was again more expensive than a hundred rubles per euro, and on September 2 it amounted to about 100 rubles and 82 kopecks, after which it began to decline again.
Until August, the exchange rate of the European currency remained below 100 rubles from February 2025. It was approaching the hundred-ruble mark in September 2025, when it amounted to 99.82 rubles. Then it rose on March 20 and reached 97 rubles. By May 20, the rate fell below 82 rubles, and then rose again.
