Attempt to save a drunk driver led to bonfire on the dock

The incident occurred on July 1, on the 9th km of the highway Kostroma — Sharya — Kirov — Perm. Staff of the traffic police stopped the car, the driver of which had obvious signs of intoxication.

When the man was removed from the steering wheel and began to prepare documents, his 58-year-old companion intervened in the case. Being herself podshofe, she decided to “modestly reward” the police officer, offering him two thousand rubles for refusing to draw up the protocol.

The inspector showed principledness, refused the offer and reported an attempt to bribe the duty unit. Now the passenger faces criminal liability for attempted bribery, although during the investigation she completely repented of what she did.
