“Year of industrial cooperation”: Minsk and China join forces in the field of eco-machinery

In Minsk, the heads of the Chinese Association of Machine Builders for Environmental Protection, the Association of Technoparks and Innovative Entities of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the Minsk City Technopark signed a memorandum of cooperation on October 28. The Chinese Association unites about 600 manufacturers of equipment for environmental protection, as well as companies engaged in scientific and technical development, design and services in this field.

Chairman of the Belarusian structure Yaroslav Grebenshchikov noted that due to the continuation of work in this direction, the parties will know exactly which enterprises of the PRC are successfully working in the field of environmental protection, and will also have the opportunity to transfer relevant knowledge and technologies to Belarus.

The speaker highly appreciated the cooperation with the Vice President and General Secretary of the Chinese Association Gao Lihong. Y. Grebenshchikov also said that according to the results of the signed documents with Chinese partners, the Minsk City Technopark (director – Vladimir Davidovich) will become a member of the founders of the Association of Machine Builders for Environmental Protection.

During the visit, Chinese colleagues visited the Modum-Techno Minsk enterprise, which is part of the city technopark, engaged in the production of modern equipment for the perfumery, cosmetics and food industries.

- A preliminary agreement was reached that a large metropolitan enterprise will release a line of equipment for food production using modern Chinese technologies, taking into account the experience of new partners from China, V. Davidovich said.

Me. Grebenshchikov also stressed the symbolism of the activity of partner associations of Belarus and China in the Year of Industrial Cooperation of the two countries. He noted that the work in this direction on both sides will continue: there is a desire, opportunities and political will for this.
