Artificial Christmas trees appeared in Russian stores
The first artificial spruce began to arrive in Russian hypermarkets

The first artificial spruce began to arrive in Russian hypermarkets. Now a compact tree with a height of 120 centimeters can be purchased at a price of 900 rubles. This was reported by URA.RU expert Stanislav Bogdanov.
As December approaches, retail chains intend to expand the festive range: in addition to artificial Christmas trees, live trees, garlands, tinsel and other jewelry will be on sale. Bogdanov noted that for the holidays, buyers will be able to choose goods in different price categories. At the same time, the basic models of artificial spruces can later rise in price.
According to online sites, this autumn an artificial Christmas tree on marketplaces costs an average of 3.6-3.7 thousand rubles, an electric garland - about 600 rubles, a set of Christmas tree balls - about 500 rubles. The purchase of a minimum set of jewelry, including wood, garland, toys, tinsel and top, will cost 4.8-5.2 thousand rubles.
Most of the artificial firs represented in Russia are produced abroad. According to Bogdanov, in hypermarkets buyers are available from 80 to 160 models, and in online stores of individual retail chains the range reaches 1260 options. Among the main supplier countries are China, Belarus, Vietnam and Thailand. More than 90% of imports come from China.
