MAZ presented in St. Petersburg the experience of using electric buses

Minsk Automobile Plant presented the experience of using electric buses in St. Petersburg. This was reported in OJSC MAZ, writes sb.by.

The Consulate General of Belarus in St. Petersburg hosted a working meeting on procurement of equipment for 2027. The talks took place in the process of implementing the agreements reached during the recent meeting of the Head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus Dmitry Krutoy with the Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko.

The meeting was attended by General Representative of MAZ in St. Petersburg Fedor Butko and Head of Electric Vehicle Sales Department of Minsk Automobile Plant Nikolai Danilenko.

The experience of using MAZ electric buses in the domestic market and in the Russian Federation, as well as the mechanism for purchasing Belarusian equipment, was presented to the Russian side. Options for the possible use of this type of public transport in the cities of Kudrovo and Yanino of the Leningrad region were discussed, the company shared. Representatives of carrier companies confirmed their interest in purchasing our passenger equipment, noted the built system of its service.
