The project includes an annual federal budget deficit of 2% of GDP. Priorities for this period include fulfilling social obligations to citizens, financing defense, supporting those who participated in the fighting in Ukraine, and creating conditions for Russia’s technological leadership.
The head of the Ministry Anton Siluanov, according to the Agency, called the project balanced. According to him, it will make it possible to close all obligations of the state and maintain macroeconomic stability even in case of any possible changes.
Siluanov also noted that the program is designed to ensure the sustainability of finances and the basis for long-term economic growth.
