Lidagroprommash expects to start serial production of high-performance sprayers

OJSC Lidagroprommash intends in the near future to master the serial production of new high-clearance self-propelled sprayers equipped with an increased capture bar with a width of 36 meters, the sb.by correspondent was told at the enterprise.

The plant is betting on improving the efficiency of work on extremely large areas. At the exhibition “Belagro-2026”, the company demonstrated a self-propelled sprayer equipped with an enlarged capture bar 36 meters wide. This significantly reduces the number of passes on the field and increases the processing speed. The increase in the shoulder of the barbell from 24 to 36 meters increases the performance of the machine by 50%, which makes it popular with large agricultural holdings with processing areas from 1.5–2 thousand hectares. Serial production of self-propelled sprayer with a 36-meter bar is expected during 2027-2028.
Lidagroprommash is actively expanding and modernizing the line of self-propelled sprayers. The development of this direction is carried out in several key planes, focused on precise, intensive agriculture and import substitution.
For the first time, high-clearance sprayers entered mass production at the enterprise in 2016. After that, new modifications were created and the release of this technique was scaled.
The main vector of evolution of the basic model was the creation of a modification of the OVS-4224A with adjustable clearance and a barbell width of 24 meters. The upgraded version received a hydraulic clearance change system in the range from 1.4 to 2.0 meters, which allows you to treat corn and sunflower without damage in the late stages of vegetation.
Modern modifications of machines are moving towards smart farming: automatic control of the position of the barbell, automatic steering and parallel driving on GPS signals are being introduced.
After the departure of Western hydraulics suppliers, engineers redesigned key components. The current vector of development involves the addition of hydraulic components from friendly countries, which reduces external sanctions risks.
Lidagroprommash is a major specialized manufacturer in the structure of Belarusian agricultural machinery, providing jobs for about 500 people. The company develops and serially produces trailered, mounted and self-propelled equipment. The plant supplies more than 30 types of machines to the market, including pneumatic seeders, soil processing sowing complexes and high-clearance self-propelled sprayers. The main markets are the domestic agro-industrial complex of Belarus, as well as agricultural regions of near and far abroad countries.
