Volgograd residents were told about an effective method of job search
In the labor market of the Volgograd region, a favorable situation has developed: the unemployment rate has reached a historical minimum - about 2 thousand people are registered in the employment service, which is the lowest figure for the last 5 years.
At the same time, the activity of employers remains high: the employment service received applications from 2.5 thousand employers for almost 35 thousand vacancies.
In the budget sphere, specialists in the field of health, education and public administration are especially in demand. At the same time, there is a significant demand for personnel in industry, agriculture, transport and electricity.
Job fairs remain one of the most effective tools for job search. According to Dmitry Loktionov, Chairman of the Regional Committee on Labor and Employment of Population, such events are held in a variety of formats: they can be focused on a specific employer, a certain industry or territory. Among the most notable are specialized fairs “STROY-VOLGA”, “PROM-ENERGO-VOLGA” and others, which allow applicants to get acquainted in detail with proposals in the profile areas.
A special role is assigned to the All-Russian Employment Fair: it covers all municipalities in the region where employment services work. An important advantage of this format is the opportunity to pass a video interview with employers from other regions of the Russian Federation.
According to the results of the two stages of the fair, more than 600 jobs have already been recorded this year. Experts predict that by the end of the year the total number of employed will exceed a thousand – at the level of last year. This clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of existing employment support mechanisms and good prospects for those who are looking for work or want to change their field of activity.
