The second volume of the encyclopedia of the AIC Chuvashia was published

The publication was presented at a meeting of the head of the region Oleg Nikolaev with industry veterans.

According to Chuvashinform, the book includes more than four thousand stories about advanced agricultural workers, farmers and young professionals who did not make it to the first volume, published in 2017. Separate materials are devoted to mothers-heroines, participants of SVO and the development of agricultural education. The publication is complemented by more than a thousand archival photographs and paintings by Chuvash artists.

“Today, we are opening modern, technological production facilities in the countryside that produce high-quality products that compete in the world markets as well,” said Oleg Nikolaev, stressing the importance of veterans’ experience for the further development of the industry.

One of the initiators of the creation of the encyclopedia was the chairman of the Union of Veterans of the AIC Alexander Samilkin. Young specialists also participated in the work on the book. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Andrei Makushev noted that the publication is designed to preserve the memory of the labor achievements of several generations of farmers.

The head of the republic thanked the project participants and handed letters of thanks to Vera Vasilyeva from the Yalchik district, Nina Petrova from the Morgaush district and Galina Volkova from the Cheboksary branch of the Union of AIC Veterans.

The circulation will be 1.5 thousand copies. The books will go to local libraries, and the electronic version will be placed on the websites of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic and the National Library.
