Accused of murder of contestant “Mrs. Russia – Universe” pleaded guilty

Pavel Kozlov, accused of murdering his partner - model and participant of the contest "Mrs. Russia - Universe" Natalia Bozhuk, confessed. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Investigative Committee (TFR).

The accused told about the circumstances of the crime, said the Department. “Work on the criminal case aimed at collecting and consolidating evidence continues,” the representatives of the TFR noted.

The missing model and participant of the contest “Mrs. Russia – Universe” Natalia Bozhuk reported her relatives in July. Parts of the woman’s body were found in the forest. The last person she contacted was her partner. According to investigators, after the murder, he took the remains of the woman in the forest belt. He also returned to the apartment several times to eliminate traces of the crime.

The man, however, left for Northern Cyprus. In Russia, he was charged in absentia, arrested and put on the international wanted list. Turkish authorities found the accused and handed over to Russian security forces on September 18.
