The number of victims in the fire in the shopping complex “Solnechny” in Sterlitamak has grown to five people. Another girl sought medical help. This was reported by TASS in the Emergencies Ministry for Bashkiria. Four people died.

As reported in the regional Ministry of health, four people are now in the hospital. One of the victims was taken to intensive care. Her condition is assessed as severe. The condition of the other victims — a teenager, a 16-year-old girl and a 27-year-old woman — is assessed as moderate.

The fire in the shopping complex occurred this afternoon in the premises on the second floor. The fire spread to 2.1 thousand square meters. According to preliminary data, according to the Telegram channel Shot, the cause of the fire was a short circuit. A criminal case is being investigated under the article on causing death by negligence to two or more persons (Part 3 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code).
