Lida Moniava charged with final wording

The founder of the children’s hospice “House with lighthouse” Lida Moniava was charged with the final version. This was reported by her lawyer Mikhail Biryukov.

“The charges have been brought in the final version, we will be familiarizing ourselves with the case materials tentatively at the end of the week. The accusation has not changed, some wording has just been clarified, Biryukov told TASS.

There are no other procedural changes in the case, the lawyer noted. It has not yet been referred to the court, and the investigation is still ongoing, he added.

Ms. Moniava is accused of spreading fakes about the army motivated by political hatred. As reported by “Kommersant” Mr. Biryukov, the case is related to her post from February 2023. After her detention in early September, the court did not arrest her and ordered the founder of the House with the Lighthouse to ban certain actions.
