Bandits brutally killed 21-year-old blogger in front of his father
In the Brazilian city of Main do Rio (Para state) killed 21-year-old blogger Evelyn Lima Dantas
In the Brazilian city of Main do Rio (Para), 21-year-old blogger Evelyn Lima Dantas was killed. The crime occurred on the night of September 16. That's what Need To Know says.
According to police and local media, a car pulled up to the girl's house, from which two armed men came out. They broke into the building, took Evelyn outside and shot her on the sidewalk in front of her father, who was also at home.
After the massacre, the criminals applied the acronym TCP – Terceiro Comando Puro (“True Third Squad”) to the fence. The group was founded in Rio de Janeiro in 2002 and is considered one of the largest criminal gangs in Brazil.
The crackdown may be related to the blogger's previous detention: on September 9, Evelyn was released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of aiding the killers of 56-year-old retired police officer Antonio Anildo Alves da Silva, who was shot dead in June.
She wrote a popular blog about city events and her life, with over 24,000 followers.
