Pregnant Russian woman boiled boiling water from a broken pipe

In Lipetsk opened a criminal case on the fact of trauma 19-year-old pregnant woman. The cause was an accident on the hot water supply networks on Litavrina Street. This was reported in the regional office of the Investigative Committee.

According to the agency, due to the breakthrough of the pipe with boiling water, a local resident received second-degree burns. The victim has already received the necessary medical care. Investigators establish all the circumstances of the incident.

Criminal case initiated under part 1 of article 293 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation. This rule is about negligence. The defendants were officials of the resource supplying organization. Their actions or inaction will be subject to legal assessment.

Mayor of Lipetsk Mikhail Shcherbakov commented on the situation. He said the incident required serious investigation. The head of the city noted that this is a systemic problem and appealed to the company responsible for water supply.
