In France, four civilian airliners landed urgently because of anonymous warnings about bombs placed on board. According to the Agence France-Presse news agency, citing the secretariat of the head of the French government, Sebastien Lecornu, three aircraft were received at the capital’s Orly airport, and another was diverted to Bordeaux.
All emergency landings were completed safely, after which cynologists and explosive technicians immediately began to inspect the fuselages and luggage. The Prime Minister’s Office stressed that the competent authorities have already initiated a large-scale investigation to search for the organizers of this wave of false mines that paralyzed air traffic throughout Europe.
The incident was part of an unprecedented crisis that occurred the day before, when more than ten European passenger flights were forced to interrupt planned routes due to similar threats.
According to preliminary results of inspections, none of the reports of explosives have been confirmed so far. In particular, one such incident in France occurred with the plane of the Irish carrier flying from Dublin to Rome.
French military fighters forcibly escorted him to the runway of an air base near the commune of Evreux. Later it became known that the French security agencies opened a case against the commander of the aircraft. The pilot initially ignored direct dispatching directives on leaving for a military airfield, insisting on agreeing to land in a conventional civilian terminal.
Two people were killed in a school bus accident.
In France, the “deceased rule” of Macron was harshly characterized.
