Miracle on “Kholmogory”: the driver of the car survived after a collision with a truck near Sergiev Posad

In the Sergiev-Posad district of the Moscow region in the early morning there was an accident that almost ended in tragedy. At the 62nd kilometer of the M-8 “Kholmogory” highway, a passenger car was hit by a multi-ton truck.

The signal about the incident was received by emergency services at 6:32 - at rush hour, when active traffic is already beginning on the Yaroslavl highway. After a collision with a truck, the car turned into a pile of metal, and its driver - a 43-year-old man - was trapped in the cabin.

Rescuers from Mosoblpozhspass arrived to help. Using special equipment, they unlocked the victim and handed him over to ambulance doctors. The man received multiple injuries of varying severity and was urgently taken to the Sergiev-Posad hospital.

Doctors are fighting for his life. The causes and circumstances of the collision are established by traffic police officers.
