Deboshir from Novomoskovsk will go to the colony after blows to the shoulder of a police officer

The Novomoskovskiy district court of the Tula region sentenced a previously convicted man who used violence against a police officer. Citizen Kovsh M.N. was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, told “MK in Tula” in the joint press service of the courts and the USD region.

The incident occurred on July 31, 2026. The police received a report of an administrative violation, after which the employees came to one of the stations in Novomoskovsk to understand the circumstances of the incident.

As the court established, Kovsh, along with friends, loudly turned on music and drank alcohol. The policeman asked one of the women to stop the violation of public order and asked to go to the police department to find out the circumstances of administrative offenses. When the woman was put into a patrol car, the man reacted aggressively and hit the police officer on the shoulder twice. As a result, the policeman experienced physical pain.

The verdict was handed down on October 7. The court appointed Kovsha six months of imprisonment with serving a sentence in a colony-settlement and a fine of 40 thousand rubles in state income. It should be noted that when imposing punishment, the court took into account the previous sentence for a similar crime and applied the provisions of Article 70 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The fine is ordered to be executed independently.

Before the sentence came into force, the man was left with the previous measure of restraint - a subscription not to leave and proper behavior.

The sentence has not yet entered into force and can be appealed.
