The case of theft of a bicycle was sent to the court in Serov

In Serov sent to court a criminal case on the theft of a bicycle. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Sverdlovsk region, at the end of August 2026, a man from 1970 turned to the duty part of the Serov police with a statement about the theft of a bicycle, the cost of which the victim estimated at 17 thousand rubles. According to him, an unknown person stole a bicycle in a square on Lenin Street.

During the operational-search activities, the police identified a suspect. During the investigation, it was established that in mid-August the men met in the square and drank together, learning that they were employees of the same enterprise.

When the bike owner went to the store, a new acquaintance stole his bike and rode it for two weeks.

On the eve of the defendant charged under part 1 of article 158 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation (theft). The bike has been returned to its owner. The accused repented, apologized and made amends.

As reported by MK-Ural, in Yekaterinburg detained a suspect in the previously committed theft of a bicycle. In September, the owner of the bike reported to the police that an unknown person stole his vehicle in the yard in the Urals.
