Dozens of people poisoned by fast food in Uzbekistan

In the Fergana region of Uzbekistan recorded mass poisoning. About 60 people were hospitalized after visiting a fast food point in the Uchkuprik district. This was reported by the Committee on Food Safety of the Republic.

All of the victims consumed hot dogs, burgers and other instant food at the same facility. They later sought medical attention complaining of weakness, nausea and diarrhea. Doctors diagnosed them with food poisoning. There are no serious patients in need of resuscitation.

The activity of the business object is temporarily suspended. The cause of mass poisoning is being investigated. Official sources do not exclude that the number of victims may increase.

Earlier it was reported about the poisoning of people in Kazan. According to MK, the number of poisoned in cafes in Kazan reached 58 people. According to the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in Tatarstan, patients were identified intestinal infection, the institution found multiple violations of sanitary standards. In fact, a criminal case was opened, 44 kilograms of products were removed from the sale.
