Strezhevsk city court of Tomsk region found the former head of one of the commercial organizations guilty of commercial bribery

The man received 145 thousand rubles for lobbying the interests of contractors. Thanks to this “cooperation”, contractors’ employees have illegally obtained documents for work at hazardous production facilities for several years without the mandatory technical audit procedure. For what he did, he was sentenced to probation.

The prosecutor's office appealed to the court with a claim to recover this money to the state's income: commercial bribery by its legal nature is a negligible transaction, since it contradicts the basics of law and order and morality. The court granted the claim.
