Freight train hit to death 20-year-old resident of the Rostov region

A freight train shot down to death a 20-year-old resident of the Rostov region. The tragedy occurred on the morning of October 27 at the railway line “Likhay-Kamenskaya”.

The deceased was a 20-year-old resident of the farm Staraya Stanitsa Kamensky district. As specified in the UTMVD of Russia in the NCFD, the girl violated the rules of safe behavior on the railway. She probably crossed the railway tracks in the wrong place.

It is worth noting that it is impossible to stop the train instantly - the braking distance of the train can reach several hundred meters, and the driver does not always have time to notice a person and give a signal.

This is not the first such case in the region. At the end of September, a similar tragedy occurred between the stations of Khapra and Rostov-Zapadny: my grandmother was crossing the railway tracks, at this moment the train was moving at full speed. The driver applied emergency braking, but could not avoid the tragedy.

Employees of transport police and railway workers once again remind about the need to comply with safety rules. In one second, a moving train overcomes a distance of 20 meters, and its braking distance is on average about a kilometer.

Therefore, when approaching the railway, you need to be extremely collected and attentive: remove headphones and stop using phones and gadgets - this will help you see or hear the approaching danger in time.
