Widow of soldier with three children returned 260 thousand abducted by phone scammers

The Prosecutor’s office of Kochubeyev district conducted a check on the appeal of the wife of the deceased soldier, who became a victim of telephone fraudsters. This was reported to the supervisory authority.

An unknown person called the mother of many children and, under the pretext of protecting her savings, convinced her to transfer all the money to an allegedly safe account.

During the study of the materials of the criminal case, it turned out that the stolen funds went to the bank account of a resident of Karachay-Cherkessia.

The Prosecutor’s office in the interests of the family of the soldier sent a lawsuit to the court to recover unjust enrichment for 260 thousand rubles. The demands were satisfied, the decision was executed - the money was returned to the victim in full.
