Kirovchanin almost issued a loan of 900 000 rubles on the advice of scammers
In Kirov, the victim of a sophisticated fraudulent scheme almost became a 25-year-old local resident

A young man on a mobile phone received a call from a stranger who called himself a representative of the FNS.
The interlocutor convinced the Kirov resident of the need to urgently adjust the data in the 2-NDFL certificate and asked to dictate the verification code from the received SMS message allegedly for making an electronic appointment, after which the citizen fulfilled this request.
Soon, the young man was contacted by the next participant of the scheme, posing as a technical support specialist of the portal “State Services”.
The caller said that the previous conversation was conducted with scammers who managed to seize confidential information and have already applied for a loan of 900,000 rubles.
In order to prevent financial losses and cancel an unauthorized operation, the interlocutor strongly recommended that the Kirov citizen take a mirror loan for a similar amount and send funds to a specialized secure account.
Acting on the instructions received, the resident of the regional center issued debt obligations, but did not have time to collect the funds received.
During the set cooling period, he shared details of what was happening with a friend who recognized the deception in time and stopped the young man.
Realizing that it will not be possible to bring the criminal plan to the end, the attackers quickly erased the history of messages.
In fact, the investigators opened a criminal case under part 3 of article 30 and part 3 of article 159 of the criminal code, the investigation is ongoing.
Representatives of law enforcement agencies of the region remind citizens of the need to be vigilant and not to make any financial transactions at the behest of third parties.
Experts emphasize that employees of departments and government agencies never require to issue loans or call confirmation codes, and any requirements for the opening of mirror loans indicate an attempt to cheat, in which you should immediately stop communicating.
