Magnetic swing: weather forecasters argue about “space weather”, and Pskovich advised to take care of themselves
Forecasts of geomagnetic situation for Monday, October 26, divided, creating uncertainty for weather-dependent residents of the Pskov region

Forecasts of the geomagnetic situation for Monday, October 26, divided, creating uncertainty for weather-dependent residents of the Pskov region. While some agencies promise complete calm, others warn of the return of solar activity.
According to the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center and Meteoprog, a calm geomagnetic environment is expected on October 26. The Kp index is projected at 2 (green level), which does not imply magnetic storms. Solar activity is still low.
However, other sources are sounding the alarm. The British Geological Survey reports that a new G1-level geomagnetic storm will begin on October 25-26. The portal ru-meteo.com also indicates that the strongest magnetic storm in October is expected on October 26-27 and can reach 5 points (Kp 5). In this case, we are talking about a weak storm of class G1, which can cause minor fluctuations in the power grid and auroras in high latitudes.
Even a weak storm or just a perturbed geomagnetic background can negatively affect well-being. During such periods, doctors record an increase in complaints of headaches, dizziness, weakness, drowsiness and irritability. Often there are sharp changes in blood pressure. People with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension and migraines are at particular risk.
To minimize the impact of space weather, experts recommend following a few simple rules:
“MK in Pskov” reminds: listen to your body and do not ignore the signals it gives in days of geomagnetic instability.
