Bear killed a resident of the Ust-Cuban district

In the Vologda region, investigators establish the circumstances of a terrible incident – the death of a man from a bear attack.

It all happened on September 22 in the Ust-Cuban district. According to preliminary data, it is known that a 73-year-old resident of the village of Ustye was in the forestry area near the village of Ivanovskoye. The pensioner was attacked by a bear. The man died on the spot from his wounds. During the search, his body was found on the evening of September 23.

According to the investigative committee of the region, cases of bear attacks on people have increased in the country. Vologzhan warn that when meeting with a predator, the chances of salvation are negligible. When in the forest, you should not put your life at unnecessary risk.
