First, the 28-year-old girl was called by an employee of the operator and offered to extend the contract. At his request, the Minsk woman dictated the code from SMS. Soon after, the victim was contacted by false employees of “E-shepherds”. They intimidated the girl by the fact that her data was compromised, and a search was allegedly being prepared at the place of residence.
For security reasons, the victim was advised to “declar” all available financial savings. Minchanka listened, replenished the card in the bank through an information kiosk and transferred more than 1,800 rubles to the account indicated by the scammers. After that, they stopped communicating with her.
The girl went to the police. A criminal case has been opened on this fact.
