Fraudster stole an iPhone from a friend using an association game
Playing in association unexpectedly helped the villain steal a mobile phone from his friend

As it became known “MK”, an unpleasant incident occurred in January of this year. Several young people gathered for a party, renting an apartment for a day in a house on the street of Aviastruktor Petlyakov. Previously, friends had already been hanging out together, and one of the guys lost his bracelet and watch during the party. The new meeting was held without incident until the company decided to play Elias. The essence of this game is the ability to think associatively: one player explains to a teammate the meaning of the word proposed by the program, and the second must guess the word itself. Then, on the same principle, another team comes into play, and the pair that guesses more words in a certain period of time wins.
The young man who lost the bracelet called the partner words, reading them from the screen of her iPhone 14th model. At some point in the heat of struggle, he brought the gadget close to the face of the hostess. The girl decided that the teammate was just very fond of the game. In fact, he quietly configured the gadget to unlock using “Face ID”. So the cunning man got access to the personal information of the owner of the apparatus. She was terribly outraged, but the friend said that he wants to carefully study all the photos, as he suspects her of stealing a bracelet and watch at the previous party. He then quickly fled the apartment. Attempts to return the phone to the world were not crowned with success. Then she went to the police. It turned out that the thief took the “iPhone” to the point for repairing phones – apparently, he intended to sell the gadget, and the story with checking the photo was only an excuse to take possession of other people’s property.
The Shcherbinsky court sentenced the deceiver to 2 years of imprisonment with the same probationary period.
