The prosecutor’s office of Beloglin district revealed a violation of anti-corruption legislation during the employment of a former employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in a health care institution. We are talking about the former head of the Department of Supervision and Preventive Work in the Beloglinsky district of the Supervision and Preventive Work Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory.
It was established that during the civil service he carried out verification and other control measures against this institution. After his dismissal, the former civil servant got a job in the same organization, the press service of the Krasnodar Territory Prosecutor’s Office added.
The law requires that in such cases, a former civil servant, before entering into an employment contract, notify the commission on compliance with the requirements for official conduct of civil servants and settlement of conflicts of interest at the previous duty station. Only in the presence of a positive opinion of the commission, he receives the right to employment to the relevant employer.
The inspection of the prosecutor’s office showed that the former employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations did not fulfill these anti-corruption requirements. In this regard, the district prosecutor's office submitted to the head of the health institution a submission on the elimination of violations.
As a result of its consideration, the employment contract with the former civil servant was terminated. In addition, the employee of the personnel unit responsible for the violations committed was brought to disciplinary responsibility.
