On Lipetsk roads revealed more than 500 thousand violations in 9 months

From January to September, 679 accidents were registered in the region - 15% less than in the same period last year. In the accidents killed 91 people, 863 were injured. The number of accidents with drivers with signs of intoxication decreased from 111 to 70, and collisions with pedestrians – by 26%, to 135.

In the accidents, 140 children under the age of 16 were injured: three died, 137 were injured. In total, auto inspectors identified more than 1.03 million traffic violations, including 1,788 cases of driving while intoxicated or refusing medical examination.

Another 7,399 infringements could result in a driver’s license or administrative arrest.
