A resident of the Staro-Oskol district of the Belgorod region, who almost shot a child trying to impress the girl, was sentenced. He was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Hooliganism with the use of objects used as weapons”).
The court found that in July 2026, the man drank alcohol together with a partner. Then he decided to surprise the girl and demonstrate his superiority over others. He took his pistol and started shooting through the window at passers-by. One of the bullets hit a young girl.
The court appointed the man a year of correctional labor with 10% of salary in the state income. In addition, he was ordered to compensate the child for moral harm. The sentence has not yet entered into force.
