Near Novosibirsk dump truck crushed a woman on the night track

The tragic incident occurred at about 22:40 on the 2nd kilometer of the Novosibirsk-Sadovy highway.

According to the regional traffic police, the 43-year-old driver behind the wheel of the dump truck Howo was moving from the side of the metropolis, when a man suddenly appeared in front of the car in the dark. The multi-ton car did not have time to brake and ran into a pedestrian.

The injured woman, who appears to be about 50 years old, suffered injuries incompatible with life and died right on the roadway before the ambulance crew arrived.

The inspectors and investigators who arrived at the scene quickly established the reason why the Howo driver was unable to react in time to the appearance of a person on the road. It turned out that at the time of the accident, the woman was walking directly along the roadway, and on her outerwear there were no reflective elements.

At the scene of the tragedy worked investigative team.

The traffic police urge Siberians not to risk their lives and be sure to wear reflective elements on clothes in the dark, especially on country roads.
