After the emergency at the Neryungrinskaya GRES in Yakutia will consider the emergency regime

The authorities of Yakutia will consider the introduction of an emergency in Neryungri and the village of Silver Bor after the emergency at the Neryungrinskaya GRES. This was reported by the head of the region Aisen Nikolaev.

According to Nikolaev, the situation at the station remains difficult. At night, he discussed the situation with the leadership of the Neryungri district and the government of the republic, after which he instructed to consider the introduction of an emergency regime for prompt adoption of necessary decisions.

The fire on the territory of the Neryungrinskaya GRES occurred on September 22. The fire at the transformer substation was eliminated on the same day, after which experts began to eliminate the consequences of the incident.

In the Neryungri district, the necessary forces and means are involved. The authorities expect to restore the stable operation of the station as soon as possible, including under a temporary scheme, paying special attention to heat supply to residential buildings and social facilities.
