Fire season in Chuvashia continues
Despite the autumn cold snap, in Chuvashia remains a fire hazard situation

Despite the autumn cold snap, in Chuvashia remains a fire hazard. Dry grass, fallen foliage and plant residues are easily ignited, and with strong winds, the fire can quickly spread and threaten residential buildings, outbuildings and natural areas.
Residents of the republic are reminded of the need to comply with fire safety rules. Do not make bonfires in forbidden places, burn grass, foliage and debris, and throw unsweetened matches and cigarette butts.
Near the houses it is recommended to remove dry vegetation and combustible debris. Cars and equipment with a heated exhaust system should not be left on dry grass. Children should not be allowed to play matches and lighters.
When carrying out household works, water, a fire extinguisher or a shovel should be nearby.
In forests and natural areas, it is important to comply with existing restrictions.
If smoke, smoldering or open fire is detected, call 101 or 112 immediately, informing the exact location of the incident. Before the arrival of the rescuers should move to a safe distance.
