Entrepreneur from Cheboksary cheated business partners almost 12 million rubles

In Chuvashia, a 35-year-old resident of Cheboksar, accused of fraud in the amount of about 12 million rubles, will appear in court. According to the investigation, the businessman committed six crimes on a large and especially large scale.

According to the employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Moscow Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2020-2023, a businessman previously convicted of fraud concluded contracts with business partners, including from other regions. At the same time, he had no real ability and intention to fulfill his obligations.

Investigators of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Cheboksars gathered evidence that the company headed by the accused actually only imitated activities. The entrepreneur used the money received from partners at his own discretion.

During the investigation, the man pleaded not guilty. The materials of the criminal case were sent to the Novocheboksary City Court for consideration.
