The Prosecutor’s office Lyubytino helped to return the house deceived by scammers orphan with a disability

In the Lyubytinsky district, the prosecutor's office helped return housing and land to a local resident - a disabled child from among orphans. The girl became a victim of fraudsters and lost property, the press service of the Prosecutor’s office of the Novgorod region reported.

Scammers forced the girl to sell a residential house and land in the village of Nebolchi. At the same time, about 1 million rubles for the transaction on her account never arrived.

It turned out that the victim’s bank account was not even opened – it was initially under the full control of persons who were engaged in the alienation of her real estate. In addition, due to the existing illness at the time of signing the documents, the girl could not understand the meaning of her actions and manage them.

To protect the rights of the orphan, the prosecutor of the Lyubytinsky district appealed to the court. At the request of the supervisory authority, the purchase and sale of a house and land was declared invalid.

According to the materials of the prosecutor's inspection, a criminal case on fraud was also opened against two residents of the region. It is currently being considered in court.
