Recidivist stole and ate 20 packs of butter in Krasnodar

In the Prikuban district of Krasnodar, an unusual theft is being investigated: 20 packs of butter were stolen from a store on Repin Street. The total cost of the stolen — 3.8 thousand rubles.

About the disappearance of food in the police reported the employee of the point of sale: the goods disappeared from the refrigerator. The suspect was quickly identified as a 46-year-old local resident who already has a criminal record for theft.

The man did not deny guilt: he said that he hid the oil in a fabric bag, and later ate all the stolen product at home.

Now a criminal case has been opened against Krasnodar. By law, he can face up to two years in prison, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Krasnodar reports.
