“The word is not a sparrow”: a pensioner from Svetlogorsk district will answer in court for insulting police officers in social networks

An elderly resident of Svetlogorsk district became a defendant in a criminal case after speaking out in a social network to police officers. This sb.by reported to the Department of Internal Affairs of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

As established by law enforcement officers, the 72-year-old woman published a post in which inappropriately responded to the district inspectors of the Svetlogorsk ROVD.

On the basis of the materials of the Gomel region GUSB of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a criminal case was initiated against a pensioner under Article 369 of the Criminal Code - public insult to a representative of the authorities in the performance of his official duties.
