Chelnov court arrested father and son for bribe for military ticket

The court of Naberezhnye Chelny sent into custody a father and son suspected of bribery. Both defendants will be in jail until October 2. This decision was made at the request of the investigation, which considers this case as a crime committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.

The investigation established that the men, with the help of an intermediary, bribed the employees of the military enlistment offices of Elabuga and Naberezhnye Chelny, the amount amounted to 450 thousand rubles. As a result, one of them illegally obtained a military card without serving in the army and without undergoing alternative civilian service.

The criminal case was initiated under Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for giving a bribe. The investigation is ongoing, all the circumstances of the incident are established, the press service of the city court reports.
