Bailiffs sought compensation from Pskov, broke the jaw of a friend in a night fight

In Pskov, the proceedings in the criminal case on causing harm to health have been completed. The incident occurred at night at the board of honor “Labor Translators of the Krasnogorod district”. A college student in the course of an argument hit a friend with his fist and leg, as a result of which the victim fell on the asphalt and received a broken jaw. The man needed surgery and long-term treatment.

The court sentenced the defendant to imprisonment for 3 months with a number of prohibitions (not to leave the house at night, not to go outside Pskov). The court also ordered him to pay compensation for moral damage. Initially, the victim demanded 300 thousand rubles, but the amount was reduced to 90 thousand. The defendant fully admitted guilt and repented.

However, the young man voluntarily refused to pay. The case was transferred to the bailiffs of Opochetsk and Krasnogorod districts. Despite warnings, the debtor ignored the claims. Then the FSSP officers seized his property - a car and an apartment, prohibiting any transactions with them. This measure worked instantly: the money was fully transferred to the victim.
