Three pensioners stuck in a swamp because of beavers

In the Kostroma region, three pensioners were on an island in the middle of a swamp because of beaver dams. This was told by volunteers of the detachment “LisaAlert”.

The incident occurred in the Sharya district. Three women went to the forest to collect mushrooms, but did not return home. Volunteers were able to contact one of the missing. She reported that she and her friends were stuck on an island in the middle of a swamp.

Rescuers and volunteers arrived at the scene. They found women on a small island in the middle of a river that beavers blocked by a dam. Pensioners were brought out of the thicket, they did not need medical help.

Earlier in the Nizhny Novgorod region, a pensioner fell into a hole with barbed wire. She spent two days there and was discovered by a young couple. The woman was taken to hospital with severe hypothermia, dehydration and traumatic brain injury.

Also in the Angara region, a pensioner survived for four days in the forest in the rain.
