Three dead in road accident near Vileika: driving was an 18-year-old girl without a license
On October 27, at about 20:40 in the Vilei district on the 104 km of the R-28 “Minsk-Molodechno-Naroch” highway, a fatal accident occurred: an 18-year-old girl who did not have the right to drive a Volkswagen at the rounding of the road to the right drove to the oncoming lane and collided with a Mitsubishi car.
According to preliminary data, the accident occurred on October 27 at about 20:40 on the 104th kilometer of the R-28 Minsk-Molodechno-Naroch highway in the Vilei district. At the wheel of a Volkswagen was an 18-year-old girl who had no right to drive the vehicle. On the right round of the road, she drove into the oncoming lane, where she collided with a Mitsubishi car. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
As a result of the accident, the driver of a Volkswagen car and two of its passengers – young people 19 and 21 years old – were killed. The Mitsubishi driver was hospitalized.
At the scene of the accident, employees of the traffic police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the investigative and operational group are now working - specialists find out the causes and circumstances of the incident.
By order of the Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakov, the acting head of the GUGAI of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Andrei Garkusha arrived at the scene of the tragedy.
