In Furmanov compulsory work convict replaced for real time

A local resident who did not want to perform mandatory work was sent to the colony. This was reported in the interdistrict prosecutor's office.

A man of 29 years was convicted of theft and attempted robbery of a network store. The court gave him 400 hours of mandatory work. But he did not serve his sentence: he skipped and did not go to work without good reason.

The Criminal Executive Inspectorate appealed to the court with a request to replace compulsory work with imprisonment. The court upheld this demand and, taking into account the opinion of the prosecutor, sent the man to a penal colony for 1 month and 16 days.

The court order has not yet entered into force.
