In Kalmykia, a fisherman-poacher was caught with an illegal fishing tool

In the Iki-Burul district of Kalmykia, illegal extraction of aquatic biological resources was stopped. During a preventive raid at one of the local reservoirs, law enforcement officers stopped a car driving which was a 54-year-old resident of the suburb of Elista.

During the inspection of the vehicle, the guards found evidence in the luggage compartment, incriminating the driver in poaching. There were specimens of fish of partial species, a rubber boat, a fishing suit and a fishing tool - a prison.

The man did not deny his guilt and admitted to the police that he really caught fish in this pond from a boat, using a prohibited gun. Currently, the entire catch is aimed at ichthyological examination, and the gear is withdrawn. In relation to the detainee, the issue of initiating a criminal case is decided.
