In Mari El, the head of the supply department was suspected of receiving bribes
The Investigative Committee for the Republic of Mari El opened a criminal case against the head of the logistics department of one of the local commercial organizations.
The man is charged with commercial bribery in a significant amount. According to the investigation, from January 2023 to December 2024, the defendant systematically received illegal remuneration from the counterparty. The total amount of “kickbacks” amounted to 132 thousand rubles. For this money, the supplier guaranteed the partner company priority participation in the supply of various goods for the needs of the enterprise, ignoring the principles of fair competition.
The unlawful actions of the employee were revealed by the operatives of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Republic’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
