According to the materials of the criminal case, on July 7, 2026, at about 23:15, the accused was driving the AUDI 100 along the third lane of the 8th kilometer of the outer ring of the Moscow Ring Road at a speed of at least 140 km / h (with the allowed 100 km / h). At the same time, the chassis was defective in the car - there were tires on the rear wheels, on which wear indicators appeared.

The driver did not take into account the speed limit, road conditions (dark time of day, wet pavement of the carriageway) and when ahead of the car, moving on the third lane in a passing direction, went to the second lane with the same speed. There he lost control and went into a skid. The Audi shifted to the left and crossed the horizontal road marking line, leaving the carriageway to the dividing zone, where it hit the barrier fence. After the car moved to the right edge of the road and was on the side of the road, where he ran into the mast of street lighting.

- As a result of the traffic accident, two passengers of the AUDI, not wearing seat belts, received serious bodily injuries on the basis of danger to life and indelible disfigurement of the person, as well as less serious bodily injuries, commented Vladimir Nikovich, Deputy Head of the Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of Minsk for Supervision of Legislation Implementation by the Investigation Committee for Minsk. After studying the materials of the case, the prosecutor’s office concluded that the charges were justified, the sufficiency of the evidence collected, a full and objective investigation of the circumstances of the crime and agreed with the qualification of the crime under Part 2 of Art. 317 of the Criminal Code.

The previously chosen preventive measure against the accused in the form of a ban on certain actions (driving vehicles) by the deputy prosecutor of Minsk when sending the case to court was left unchanged.
