In Minsk will judge a pickpocket thief who stole a wallet from a passenger trolleybus

A criminal case against a 44-year-old previously convicted citizen who is accused of committing theft has been sent to the court for consideration, the Frunze district prosecutor’s office told the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency.

Early in the morning, a resident of the capital went to work in the trolley bus No. 10. Going to get out at the right stop, he suddenly felt some stirring and tremors from behind, but did not attach any importance to this. On the street, the man inspected his bag just in case - all departments were closed. Only when he got to work did he find his wallet missing, which contained a pass.

Subsequently, a resident of the capital appealed to the police. According to the recordings of security cameras installed in the trolleybus, the employees exposed the thief. He stood behind the victim, quietly opened the lock of one of the compartments of his bag, took out his wallet, and then zipped up the zipper. In the wallet were two bank and social cards, pills, a work permit and other property that does not represent any value.

In relation to the unclean Minsk citizen, another criminal case was opened.

- The accused is not officially employed anywhere, has previously been repeatedly brought to criminal responsibility, including for committing similar crimes - the conviction has not been removed and not extinguished in the manner prescribed by law, Igor Zhibul, deputy prosecutor of the Frunze district, commented. He was charged with repeated secret theft of property (theft), that is, in committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code. The citizen admitted guilt. The damage caused to the victim is fully compensated.

According to experts, the accused needs compulsory treatment for chronic alcoholism and drug addiction. A preventive measure was applied against him in the form of a subscription not to leave and proper behavior.
