In Mordovia on November 5 and 6, firefighters eliminated two fires, one of which ended in tragedy. As a result of the fire in the village of Protasovo, Ichalkovo district, a 70-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man were killed.
The fire was noticed by local residents who called rescuers. By the arrival of firefighters, the apartment building and the shed attached to it had already completely engulfed the flames. Buildings with a total area of 80 square meters burned. The bodies of the dead were found in the rubble.
Another fire occurred on November 6 in the Torbeyevsky district. It was extinguished without reports of the dead.
In addition, during the day the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations once went to an accident. Rescuers warn that due to the ice on the roads of Mordovia remains an increased risk of accidents. Drivers are advised to slow down and maintain distance.
