In North Ossetia, police seized a taxi passenger a large consignment of drugs

Police officers of the Kirov district of North Ossetia detained a taxi passenger carrying a large consignment of drugs. This was reported in the Republican interior Ministry.

The Lada Niva car, used as a taxi, was stopped on the western outskirts of the village of Karjin. Behind the wheel was a local resident who carried out an order for the transportation of a passenger - a 43-year-old resident of the village of Darg-Koh.

During a personal search of the passenger, police found a polymer bag of drugs under his jacket.

The man explained that he collected wild cannabis in the vicinity of the village of Karjin for personal use and did not plan to sell it. However, as noted in the police, this does not absolve him from responsibility, as it is a large scale.

A criminal case has been opened.
